There will always be an excuse as to why you can't do a boudoir session, but no matter the excuse, you CAN do it! You deserve a session. You deserve self love. You deserve to prioritize yourself.
"I don't have enough time for myself"
You can't pour from an empty cup. Everyone needs to take time for themselves. I know it's easier said than done, but our mental health is so important. A day away, at the studio, focused solely on you, getting pampered and spoiled will recharge those batteries so you can jump back in to the chaos of life the next day. It's important to love yourself so you can love others.
"I'm not where I want to be weight wise/ I don't fit the media's idea of a good enough size."
F*ck the media. Most people in the world don't look like that. We don't have to be a certain size to love ourselves, to look hot, or to feel sexy. Boudoir is meant to celebrate our bodies, no matter what stage of life we are in! Just because your body isn't where you want it to be right now, doesn't mean you don't deserve to love yourself, or at the very least like yourself! Celebrate your body as it is now, and then come in again if you hit that fitness goal! Realize your body deserves love at any size.
"I never feel sexy or sensual anymore so a boudoir shoot must not be for me."
Ummm, that's why you NEED to do a boudoir shoot. We all go through periods in life where we don't feel sexy anymore, but that doesn't mean we're not and it doesn't mean that sexy is gone. A boudoir shoot will help you see that you still got it! Remember that sexy doesn't just mean revealing lingerie, confidence is sexy, so bring whatever you want that brings out that confidence!
