am so excited that you're here! I own JB Photography, except I feel totally weird when my photographers call me their boss- so of course they all do it. I started this company in 2015 and since then it has grown more than I ever expected. I absolutely love running this company - except for maybe during tax time!
My lovely husband is crazy supportive of me and this business, always pushing me to improve my craft. My son Julian is my cutest albeit probably most difficult "client".
I want to create some beautiful photos with you. I want to pose you, prompt you, and help you be you in front of the camera. Every client is different and therefore every photo shoot is different, and that keeps my jobs fun and my photos fresh.

Growing up in, and eventually returning to, Slinger, Wisconsin, my journey as a wedding photographer is deeply rooted in the heart of the Midwest. Having spent a decade as an educator, I found joy and fulfillment in shaping young minds while nurturing my passion for photography on the side. The picturesque landscapes of the Kettle Moraine and close-knit community of Slinger became the backdrop to my early creative endeavors.
As I navigated the delicate balance between teaching and photography, life took an unexpected turn when I discovered I was expecting. It was this pivotal moment that propelled me to reassess my priorities and embrace my true calling. With unwavering support from family and a determination to follow my dreams, I made the leap into full-time photography.
My unique journey shapes the way I approach capturing moments – with a blend of the warmth and authenticity instilled by my Midwestern roots, coupled with the patience and understanding honed through years of teaching. Now, as a full-time photographer, I bring not only technical expertise but also a genuine passion for storytelling to each celebration. From the quaint streets of small town Wisconsin, to the Milwaukee skyline, full of love-filled moments of weddings or families, let's capture it all.

With my awesome little family of three, plus our golden retriever, Daisy, life's a fun mix of laughs, shared moments, and the chaos of a toddler. We're blessed to have our extended family nearby, and Julian loves playing with his cousins every chance he gets. We cherish our family dinners, play dates at the lake, and what I like to call the Bach-family-extravaganza, that is Christmas.

I've got this relentless love affair with traveling—whether it's exploring hidden gems or diving into the heart of bustling cities. The thrill of new places, flavors, and cultures is my happy place.
I always haul my photography equipment along, to grab an awesome landscape shot or two, and usually we book our family photos while we're on vacation as a special way to remember each trip.
I want to show Julian the world, and we're doing so one small step at a time right now. Flights are tough with toddlers!

I am a father, husband, friend, photographer and full time "Papa". I am based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I want to begin by mentioning a little bit about why I got into photography; I have always been interested in photography, but it was when I started staying home as a full-time dad that I really immersed myself into the world of pictures. I realized the timelessness of childhood and want to capture those treasured moments of the life of my son and now my little girl. I believe in the importance of capturing these real moments and this has become the focus of my work. I would love nothing more than to capture your important moments.
I'm also a published landscape photographer and I love incorporating that into my wedding photos.

David is a fricken' rock star and lead associate. I can honestly say, this company wouldn't be where it is without him. He's always willing to go above and beyond for me and for our clients. And when it comes to photos? He's good- like really good! He took my wedding photos, so that says a lot right there.
His wedding albums are full of beautiful photos but some of my favorite shots from him are:
-How he incorporates landscape photography into his couple portraits.
-His groom photos. He seriously nails these. Everyone always focuses on the bride, he does both!
- His bridal party shots are full of life and laughter.
- His creative lighting shots.
For weddings I have a team of amazing associate shooters, who would love to be part of your day!
So what exactly is an associate shooter? Associate photographers are people on my team, who I trust entirely to work for me serving our couples. Some of our JB couples chose to work with an associate of mine when I'm already booked, when they want someone slightly less expensive, or simply because they like them better than me!
A couple things to note.
1. At JB, you chose who you want to work with, we don't randomly assign you a photographer. It's too personal of a decision to do willy nilly.
2. If you are doing an engagement session, whoever is photographing your wedding, will do your engagement session so you can get to know each other more.
3. Your photographer will be the one to answer questions throughout the planning process and to discuss final details, timeline, shot list, etc with you.
4. Everyone always asks, "What's the difference between you and them?" And I always say, "The only difference is that my name is on the company and theirs isn't." Some of these photographers have been doing this longer than I have, others are newer to the game. I'll give you the low down on each of them when we chat, so we can figure out who best matches your wedding day vibe.

Hi, I'm David
Mom of 6, wife, family manager, former EMT and a self-proclaimed photography nerd. I started in the wedding industry as an assistant photographer when I was just 16 [way back in 2006!] and instantly fell in love. From the intimate love-soaked moments to the crazy and hilarious dance moves at the reception, everything about it called out to my soul. I think having that kind of passion for weddings is not only important but necessary. If your photographer is just as excited about your day as you are, you know they're going to treat your wedding as if it were their own, which is exactly what I do. I go all in to get the best shots, constantly looking around for perfect candids, planning epic shots out days or weeks before the big day, and finding inspiration on the day of to come up with new and fun ideas for poses that match my couple's personalities. I want my couples to look back on their photos and not just see memories, but feel the love, happiness, and energy in them, which is why I always give every wedding day my all. So if you're looking for a photographer with a bubbly, energetic personality who loves your wedding day just as much as you do, look no further!

Hi, I'm Taber
I was born in Chicago. I currently reside in the suburbs with my husband and our rescue fur baby, Rudy. I came from a family with three kids of which I am the middle child. I love to travel and learn as much as I can. Being an artist means forever a student, there is always more to learn! I want to learn all about you, capture your life's precious moments & tell your love story!
I graduated from University of Wisconsin Parkside. I received my Bachelor's in Art with a 2D Art concentration and a minor in Sociology. I spent some time studying abroad in Italy. I originally went to school for Cosmetology but later realized it just was not the right fit for me. I received my 1st camera from my dad for my 16th birthday, a 35mm Nikon. I spent hours developing film in the darkroom earlier in my photography journey, and have been doing photography ever since! I strongly believe if you love what you do, you will never spend a day working!
